PUTTING YOUR SAFETY FIRST
The organising committee place the highest priority on ensuring the safety of all those attending the Selsey Fireworks
We work closely with Chichester District Council Health & Safety and Environmental Health Officers, West Sussex Police, The Fire Brigade and Sussex Ambulence Service in the planning of this event. |

The fireworks at this event are fired by Selstar of Selsey, a local specialist company, whose proprietor boasts almost 30 years of experience, Selstar's pyrotechnicians have been involved in shows of all sizes, including displays at the London Eye on Millenium New Year's eve, Worthing Pier, all shows at the Royal Armories Museum and the firework display at Jodie Kidd's wedding that were featured in OK magazine, as well as the Queen's Golden Jubilee celebrations at Buckingham Palace.

COMMUNICATIONS |

All committee members and key stewards are in constant communication via radios, equipped with discrete ear pieces to ensure constant communication
We also communicate regularly with emergency services, and the Police who are onsite for the event

STEWARDS |
| |
We recruit an army of approximately 100 stewards to aid in the running of this event.
All stewards are dressed in HighVis yellow vests and wear STAFF badges to make them easily identifiable to members of the public

RISK ASSESSMENT |

A full risk assessment has been carried out for every aspect of this event and there are emergency procedures in place which have been planned in cooperation with the emergency services
